Data sources
Open Market Rank uses named external providers for economic, currency and market data. This page explains what each source contributes and how often the underlying data is expected to change.

What we add. The sources provide measurements; this site adds the ordering — ranks within a class, the two country measures, shares of the tracked total — and the snapshot history that lets a figure be cited later.
Reporting periods and lag
Country figures are annual and arrive with the lag of official statistics. Currency and crypto figures are current within the day. A page never presents a lagging figure as fresh: each row carries the period it belongs to.
Source availability, definitions and publication schedules are controlled by the providers and may change independently of Open Market Rank.
