For scale: every cryptocurrency tracked here adds up to $2.27T, which is 0.91% of the national wealth of United States alone ($249.19T, 2025). That is the kind of comparison totals can carry and a shared ranking column cannot.
Read these totals with care. The stock column adds up national wealth, money supply and market capitalisation — all stocks, but measured by different institutions with different methods and different reporting years. The share column is useful for orders of magnitude, not for precision. See the methodology.
